The engine block of the Garelli VIP can be disassembled by removing it from its housing, loosening all the bolts that fix it to its supports. Once the engine block has been freed from the supports and the connectors connected to it, it will be possible to completely remove the piston from the connecting rod, by widening the respective seeger ring. Once the piston has been removed, it will be possible to detach the side pedals, removing the pins that fix the protective covers of the internal engine components. In this way, it will be possible to access them and eventually replace them with new parts.
