As always, it is advisable to position the motorcycle on which you will perform the maintenance operation in a way that it is well immobilised, stable, and safe while you work on it. In this case, after removing the rear wheel, place your Gasgas on a stand to ensure the operator's safety. Now, take the chain guide and fit it using 2 bolts at the bottom of the frame, in the designated element for this function. Next, remove the rear wheel sprocket (unscrew the bolts that hold it in place, as shown in the video) and fit the new one. Refit the rear wheel in its position on the frame and insert the chain, ensuring it passes through the guide you just fitted. Adjust the chain length using the appropriate tools to ensure it has the correct tension, and that’s it!

The fuses of the Piaggio Vespa GTS 125 are located inside the front fairing of the scooter: to access the fuse box, press the ignition switch fully.
