Turn on the bike for a few minutes to warm up the oil, which will thus become less dense and run off easier and faster. As shown in the video, unscrew the drain hole under the bike and collect the used oil in a tray (and dispose of it correctly). While the oil is running down, unscrew and check the filter relative to it: if it is in good condition, give it a quick clean, otherwise replace it making sure to lubricate the o-r of the new filter (even with old oil) before assembly. Close the drain hole, measure the quantity and load the same quantity from the upper hole.

How to replace the front brake pads on the Ktm Super Adventure 1290

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to disassemble and replace the front brake pads of the Ktm Super Adventure 1290 motorcycle. First of all, put our motorcycle on the stand and start unscrewing and removing the central locking pin of the brake pads with a pliers; then we lever the caliper piston to make it retract, in order to remove the old brake pads, as shown in the video. At this point, let's clean up the caliper and install the new brake pads; then let's fix them correctly, inserting and locking the pin!
