In this tutorial, you will see the main instructions for installing a new cylinder assembly consisting of a piston, rings, cylinder, and head, along with its bolts, on the Gasgas EC 300 enduro bike. First, clean the base of the cylinder thoroughly and ensure it is perfectly flat (if not, proceed with surfacing); then mount the piston onto the connecting rod of the crankshaft, inserting the pin and then the clips.

At this point, insert the cylinder onto the piston, ensuring the spacers are in the correct position; finally, mount the head!

How to Remove the Rear Wheel of the GasGas EC 250?

To remove the rear wheel of the GasGas EC 250, first dismantle the chain by removing it from the sprocket attached to the rear wheel. Once the chain is removed, you can unscrew the nut that secures the rear wheel spindle and holds it to the swingarm. When the securing spindle is removed, you can completely take out the wheel from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After replacement, refit the securing spindle and reposition the chain around the sprocket.
