The procedure for removing the engine from the GasGas EC 300 involves extracting the engine block from its housing after unscrewing the fixing bolts of the appropriate supports. You will also need to disconnect all sensor connectors to completely remove the block: before disassembling it, detach the piston from its connecting rod by widening the retaining ring.

At this point, you can loosen the additional screws that secure the two half-casings, allowing them to separate and providing access to all the internal components.
