To replace the timing chain on a Geely Emgrand, open the hood to access the components inside the engine compartment. The chain is located on the left side of the engine block: to remove it, unscrew the central pins that secure the sprockets around which it is arranged. This will allow you to reduce the tension on the chain, slide it out, and insert a new replacement piece. After the new chain is installed, start the car to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
