In order to replace the fuel filter on the Gilera GP 800, you will need to remove the left side fairing so that you can access the fuel tank located underneath it. Once you have located the top of the tank, you will need to remove the fuel pump from inside its housing, also disconnecting the appropriate fuel lines; after removal, you can slide out the fuel filter located at the bottom of the pump and replace it with a new spare part. After replacement, all the components that were removed can be reassembled.
