Here are the steps to remove and replace the rollers and variator on the Gilera Nexus 500 scooter. First, place the scooter on its centre stand and start by removing the side cover of the transmission; to do this, unscrew the side fastening screws, as shown in the video. Next, remove the fan by unscrewing the central nut, then take off the clutch bell and the drive belt; then remove the variator, taking out the old rollers inside it. Now install the new variator along with the rollers, reassembling the transmission!
