To change the engine oil of the Harley Davidson Sportster 1200, unscrew the plug located at the central lower part of the bike to collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. Once all the oil has completely drained out, you can remove the oil filter located on the left side of the front area of the bike. After the old oil filter has been removed, you can insert the new one. Finally, top up through the breather on the right side of the bike, just below the seat.
