To replace the exhaust on a Harley Davidson Road King, loosen the bolt that secures the clamp connecting the exhaust to the rest of the exhaust system. Once the clamp is opened, you can remove the old exhaust from its housing. After the old exhaust is removed, insert the new one, positioning it at the end of the exhaust pipe and securing it with the clamp. Tighten the appropriate bolt to close the clamp.
