To replace the exhaust on the Harley Davidson Road King, loosen the screws that secure it to its housing so that it can be freed from its supports located on the right side of the bike. Before completely detaching it, you will need to widen the retaining ring that connects it to the rest of the exhaust system.

This will allow you to position the new exhaust in its housing, connecting it to the remaining part of the exhaust using the appropriate ring and securing it to the side of the bike by reinserting the support screws.
