Start by removing the screw on the bracket that holds the top box. Then, open the seat and unscrew the four screws located in the under-seat compartment. Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the screws that secure the top box holder to the under-seat area. Still with the cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the screws that hold the fairing to the frame. There are two on the right side and two on the left side. Next, there are two screws on the scooter's floor that secure a plate covering the battery. At this point, you can remove the seat. Unscrew the screw that connects the two half-fairings. Now, you can unclip the half-fairings from each other and the job is done. Keep all the various screws aside for reassembly.
