Replacement and Repair of the Window Regulator

In the following video, learn how to install, repair, modify, or replace the damaged or stuck front window regulator of a Honda Civic. First, remove the inner door panel. Manually detach the triangular trim piece near the mirror, then use a small screwdriver to remove the screw cover located in the handle recess. Also, remove the cover under the armrest and unscrew all the screws holding the door panel. Disconnect the electrical connections for the handle and window regulator buttons, then use a lever to extract the inner door panel. Refit the retaining clips on the removed panel and carefully remove the plastic cover. Using a 10 mm ratchet socket and extension, remove the bolts in the centre, then you can extract the glass from the top. Now, after disconnecting the regulator connection and unscrewing the 10 mm bolts that secure it, extract the regulator arm itself and, if necessary, replace it with a new one. After reinserting it, reconnect the electrical connection and secure the regulator with the 10 mm bolts. Insert the new glass from the top, then reassemble everything as it was before.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
