How to Reset the Service Light on a Honda Civic VIII

In this short video tutorial, learn how to reset the maintenance light on an eighth-generation Honda Civic. Start by turning on the ignition without starting the engine, then repeatedly press the sel/reset button located on the right side of the steering wheel until the "service" menu appears on the display. Hold the sel/reset button for about ten seconds until the service reset appears on the display. Now press the "i" button on the steering wheel to select the reset indicator, then press the sel/reset button and wait about five seconds until the maintenance key icon disappears.
