How to Replace the Battery in a Honda Accord

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Honda Accord. Purchase the necessary replacement parts for the battery (new strap, new hook, earth cable, etc.). The first thing to do is get into the vehicle, switch off the engine, and apply the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal to avoid generating dangerous sparks for the car's electrical system. Remove the battery hold-down bracket, take off the battery cover, and pull out the old battery. Secure the battery tray to the bodywork, insert the new battery, and refit the battery cover and hold-down bracket, tightening the battery terminals, positive first, then negative.
