The oil inside lubricates the gears, cools the system, and protects against metal deposits. The video also shows that an early oil change can be a good idea to preserve the longevity of the gearbox; in fact, there is a tendency for early wear due to the presence of metal particles. The gearbox is recognizable because it has half shafts connected to two plugs: one for draining at the bottom and one for filling at the top; it is also better to unscrew the filling plug to facilitate draining: drain the oil into a basin (dispose of it at an authorized center) and refill with specific oil (in the video, Redline MT-LV is recommended). Only a little is needed, about a liter. Tighten the plugs, changing the gaskets.
