How to Replace the Ignition Coils on the Hyundai i30 1.4 MK1

If your Hyundai i30 is running on three cylinders and the scanner shows codes P0300 and P0301, the problem is often one or more ignition coils. First, remove the connectors from the LPG injectors (if present) and the plate that secures them (10 mm screws). Remove the plastic cover of the coils by unscrewing the four 10 mm screws. Disconnect the coil connectors: press the white release tab and pull the connector outwards. Unscrew the 10 mm nut that secures the coil. Extract the old coil and insert the new one (same brand), pushing until you hear a "click". Reconnect the connector and refit the cover with the four screws. Reposition the injectors and their screws. Start the engine to check. Replace all coils with the same brand to ensure consistent performance.
