How to Change the Rear Brake Light on a Hyundai Elantra

Unfortunately, to check if the brake light bulbs are blown, you need an assistant to press the brake pedal. Setting this aside, the work required for replacement is relatively simple, especially with this guide. Open the rear hatch and remove the two screws from the panel. Take it out of its seat and unscrew the three nuts. Now have the replacement part ready and remove the light unit, supporting it while you replace the bulb. Press and simultaneously unscrew the bulb; now insert the new one, push and turn to the right. Refit the rear light unit into its place, and screw in the nuts and screws.
