Complete Disassembly of Front Headlight

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Headlight bulb

To completely disassemble the front headlight assembly, open the bonnet and remove the two screws that secure the headlight. Carefully pull the headlight assembly out of its housing. Remove the protective cap and then the connector for the electrical wires. Remove the retaining spring of the bulb by gently pulling it to detach it from the bulb holder. Install the new bulb without touching the glass with your hands. Refit the bulb holder in its respective housing and reposition the headlight assembly in its place, closing the plastic cap and securing it with the two clips.
