For one reason or another, you may need to completely disassemble a headlight on your car. Perhaps you think that it is an auto electrician job, absolutely within your reach, but it is not so. In this article, we will explain how to do it: it is a delicate and not exactly exciting job but it is very simple. Remove the screws that hold the plastic together with the glass, then with the help of a heat gun (if you don't have one, a home hair dryer is fine, but the work takes longer), heat all the plastic until not being able, gently, to detach it completely by hand. Once this is done, there are two small screws to remove to allow you to manually detach everything. Maybe it is a bit long but not difficult for that.
