How to Completely Open a Front Headlamp

For one reason or another, you may need to completely disassemble a front headlamp of your car. You might think this is a job for an auto electrician, but it is well within your capabilities. This article explains how to do it: it is a delicate task and not particularly exciting, but it is quite simple. Remove the screws holding the plastic to the glass, then using a heat gun (if you don't have one, a hairdryer will do, but it will take longer), heat the plastic until you can gently detach it completely by hand. Once done, there are two small screws left to remove, allowing you to manually detach everything. It may take a bit of time, but it is not difficult.
