The first thing to do, after removing the bumper from the car, is to smooth the sides of the break from the inside, then pass a thin sandpaper around its sides and clean the parts thoroughly, always both inside and outside. , with alcohol. Bring the upper part of the bumper together with pliers, so that it fits snugly at the top. Gather the sides of the break from the outside with bodywork tape, along its entire length, so that it stays firmly in place. We will work from the inside with a specific JB WELD Plastic Bonder product, which costs about 13.00 euros on the major e-commerce platforms. It is a two-component that must be mixed, after which we can spread it on the break. Then we apply the reinforcements and on top of it another layer. We let it dry well for 24 hours, after which we can remove the clamp and the adhesive tape from the outside. We carefully scrape with a 1000 sandpaper, then clean well. At this point we have to apply a plastic body filler, which can be purchased for about 10.00 euros on the outside. Let it dry well and then scrape with 1000 paper. Clean very well and pass a coat of primer (€ 5.85) on the part to be repainted. When the primer is dry we pass with the usual 1000 paper, but wet. We let it dry and clean well. Now let's apply two coats of spray paint. The job is done and it is truly perfect.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise.
