In this video, learn a very useful method to put the wipers of Hyundai vehicles into service position, allowing you to replace the blades or just the rubber inserts easily, without having to lie on the bonnet to change them. This position is also very useful in winter; if it snows heavily, placing the wipers in this position at night ensures they won’t be broken by the weight of the snow in the morning, as being vertical prevents the weight from bearing down on the blades. Here’s how to do it: with the vehicle off, lift the wiper lever and hold it up for about three seconds; the wiper arms will automatically position themselves vertically. To return them to position, turn the ignition back on, give the wiper arm a single tap, and they will return to their normal position.
