If we want to proceed with the replacement of the battery on this car model, in the information that we have reported below we can find all the useful information necessary for the correct replacement. Open the bonnet and the battery is located on the right side just below the windshield and to access it you need to remove the upper plastic panel. Then proceed to disconnect first the negative pole and then the positive one and then unscrew the fixing nuts of the upper plate. Then remove the battery from the compartment and replace it with the new one to then reconnect first the positive pole and then the negative one and then mount the fixing plate again.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
