The illumination of the oil light on an Iveco Daily vehicle indicates that an oil change or top-up is necessary. The colour of the light will determine the action to take; if the light is solid red, an oil change is required.

If it is orange, check the oil level in the tank. Open the bonnet and remove the dipstick.

Insert it back into the tank, and once removed, check if the oil level is at the minimum or maximum. If the oil level is at the minimum, add enough oil to reach the maximum mark.

After this operation, reset the light. Turn on the instrument cluster and select the 'maintenance' option, followed by 'reset oil'.
