Operation: Instructions for replacing the timing belt on the Iveco Daily

After having disassembled the engine of the vehicle and having removed the belt guards, take a 5 mm bit and place it in the hole in the camshaft to block it and mark with a felt-tip the top gear of the camshaft as a reference for the position on the engine and also on the lowest gear, that is the one integral with the crankshaft. At this point it will be possible to remove the belt by loosening the belt tensioner. Then take the new belt and identify on it it has white lines that must go in correspondence with the two reference points marked before with the felt-tip pen.
