Instructions for Replacing the Timing Belt on the Iveco Daily

After removing the vehicle's engine and taking off the timing belt protection covers, take a 5 mm bit and insert it into the hole of the camshaft to lock it in place. Mark the highest gear of the camshaft with a marker as a reference point on the engine, as well as the lowest gear, which is attached to the crankshaft. At this point, you can remove the belt by loosening the tensioner. Then take the new belt and locate the white lines on it that must align with the two reference points marked earlier with the marker.
