How to replace the timing belt on a Fiat Iveco Daily 35-8 SOFIM?

This video shows how to replace the timing belt on an Iveco Daily with a SOFIM engine. First, disconnect the battery, then remove the complete front bumper (the headlights and indicators remain attached). You will also need to disconnect and remove the radiator, collecting the coolant. Now, align the engine by matching the hole on the flywheel with the reference on the timing cover; block the pulleys with 5 mm pins; loosen the tensioner by compressing it with pliers and check if the tensioner piston is at the end of its travel (if so, replacement is urgent!). Now install the new belt, ensuring the rotation direction of the engine is correct. Start from the top pulley and secure it with a tie wrap: slightly rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise to loosen; thread the belt and release the tensioner. For a final check, manually rotate the engine two complete turns. Recheck the alignment of the references, and if everything matches, remove the locking pins. Reassemble all components (covers, pulleys, radiator, bumper, battery). Start the engine briefly, without coolant, to check operation. Always set the timing before disassembly, and replace the water pump if driven by the timing belt.
