IVECO Daily - Video tutorial

Model: IVECO Daily
Part: Instrument cluster
Operation: The connectivity on board the Iveco Daily Euro 6.

In this video, we see how the connectivity on board the Iveco Daily Euro 6 works: to use all the features built into the vehicle, it is necessary to download the Daily business app and position your smartphone in the new and practical portatablet. The Bluetooth connection is established automatically, and the vehicle becomes a connected professional wall station. Furthermore, the system provides real-time suggestions to help the driver optimize driving times, resulting in a significant reduction in fuel consumption. Through the maps on the navigator, we have real-time alerts on traffic, routes, and traffic restrictions, which help find exit routes based on the vehicle's dimensions. From the monitor, it is possible to monitor a variety of parameters regarding the vehicle's values and access 24-hour assistance. It is possible to send drivers the scheduling of their routes and assignments directly from headquarters, which can identify all vehicle data such as identification code, mileage, travel hours, and receive alerts for maintenance plans and vehicle efficiency management by consulting the dedicated section.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
