How do you reset the Service light on the Jaguar S-Type?

In order to reset the Service light of the Jaguar S-Type, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once it is turned on, you can press and hold the TRIP button located on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. After a few seconds, you will also need to press the RESET button located on the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel: this will make the Service light disappear completely from the car's instrument panel, allowing you to turn off the car by removing the key.
