It often happens that the power steering oil in vehicles equipped with a traditional hydraulic system (pump driven by belt) tends to become contaminated due to the deterioration of the oil seals, the distributor rings of the steering box and also the system pipes: this in addition to contaminating the oil, it alters its characteristics making it overheat prematurely and the steering starts to rotate irregularly, almost at times as well as hardening; It is possible to add to the oil a special additive able to make the oil recover its characteristics; then take a quantity of oil from the tray equal to that of the additive, add the latter and continue to steer to put it into circulation.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
