It often happens that the power steering oil in vehicles with a traditional hydraulic system (belt-driven pump) becomes contaminated due to the deterioration of seals, steering box distributor rings, and even the system pipes: this not only contaminates the oil but also alters its properties, causing it to overheat prematurely, leading to irregular steering and increased stiffness; you can add a specific additive to restore the oil's properties; therefore, extract an amount of oil from the reservoir equal to that of the additive, add the latter, and continue to steer to circulate it.
