How to Install the Timing Chain on the Jaguar X-Type?

To install the timing chain on the Jaguar X-Type, you must remove the engine from its housing for easier access. First, remove the old timing chain and fit the new chain around the respective pulleys. Once the new chain is in place, hand-tighten it, and while holding it steady, bolt the tensioner pulley in position. When the chain reaches the correct tension, you can release it and also bolt the other pulleys. Finally, refit the engine into its housing.
