Operation: How to install the timing chain of the Jaguar X-Type?

In order to install the timing chain of the Jaguar X-Type it is necessary to remove the engine from its housing to be able to operate with greater comfort. Then it will be necessary to remove the old timing chain and insert the new chain around its pulleys. Once the new chain has been inserted, it will first have to be stretched by hand and while holding it still, the chain tensioner pulley will need to be screwed on. When the chain has reached the correct tension, it will be possible to release it and screw the other pulleys as well. At the end it will be possible to reinsert the motor in its housing.
