To replace the front headlamp bulb on a Jeep Renegade, start by switching off the vehicle and ensuring the engine is cool to avoid burns. Open the bonnet and locate the back of the headlamp you intend to replace.

To access the bulb, you will need to remove the protective cover at the back of the headlamp, which usually unscrews or unclips. Once the cover is removed, identify the electrical connector attached to the bulb and gently disconnect it. At this point, you can access the bulb.

Rotate it counterclockwise to remove it from the socket. Take the new bulb and insert it into the same housing, rotating it clockwise to secure it. Ensure you do not touch the glass part of the new bulb, as grease residues can damage it when heated.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the new bulb and reposition the protective cover. After completing the replacement, turn on the vehicle and check that the new headlamp works correctly.

If the bulb does not light up, check the connections or verify that the bulb has been installed correctly. This procedure is quite simple and takes only a few minutes to complete.
