How do you reset the Service light on the Jeep Renegade?

To make the Service light disappear from the instrument panel of the Jeep Renegade, you will need to replace the old oil in the engine and insert oil with the right characteristics. Once the oil top-up has been done, you will need to go inside the cabin and turn on the instrument panel by turning the key. Once turned on, you will need to press the accelerator pedal five times and then press the brake pedal. After the operation is completed, the error code will have been cleared and to verify the correct reset of the light, you can restart the instrument panel.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
