How do you reset the Service light on the Jeep Renegade?

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

The Service light shown on the instrument panel of the Jeep Renegade can be reset by replacing the used oil in the engine and topping up with oil of the correct specifications. Once the top-up is completed, you will need to go inside the cabin and turn on the instrument panel by inserting the key. Once it is on, you will need to press the accelerator pedal five times and then press the brake pedal. After the operation is completed, the Service light will have been completely reset and the instrument panel can be turned off.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
