Installation of iPod, iPhone or MP3 Player Adapter Kit

This task requires a basic understanding of electronics. Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork, pry around the wood trim of the car radio to release the clips and remove it to access the screws securing the radio. Unscrew the radio securing screws to remove it and access the various electrical wiring provided by the manufacturer for these accessories. Among the outgoing wires from the radio, there is a cable connected to a DIN connector that links the CD player located in the boot to the radio. This cable carries two shielded audio wires, power supplies, and the electric aerial control. The job involves gently stripping the cable (with a light longitudinal incision) to expose all the contained conductors. Among the various conductors, as mentioned, there are two shielded audio wires that need to be cut to ensure adequate length on both sides. These two shielded wires should be properly stripped to separate the outer shield from the central conductor. Attach a wire ending with a stereo Jack connector (easily available at any electronics store) that will be brought outside to connect the iPod or iPhone. By selecting the CD input, you will now be able to listen to your favourite music from the accessory without giving up listening to CDs.
