How to Open the Bonnet on Jeep Cherokee

Video tutorial for those with a new car who don't know how to open the bonnet. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and pull up the release lever. Once the bonnet is released, lift it up and secure it with the prop rod. Now that the bonnet is open, you can perform your maintenance. To close the bonnet, remove the safety rod and let the bonnet drop down from a minimal height. Check if the bonnet is closed.
