Removing the Headrest from a Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Cherokee KL, MK 5 - Years 2013-2023

Looking at the two support rods of the headrest, you will notice that there is a button on the black base of the left rod: this is the button to press when you want to raise the headrest. However, if you intend to remove the headrest, you will also need to insert a small screwdriver into the hole located in the black base of the other support rod, the right one. By doing this, raise the headrest further until it is completely removed. Similarly, with the small screwdriver still inserted in the right hole, insert the new headrest, and finally remove the screwdriver.
