Replacing Gear Knob on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Using a sharp tool, remove the plate above the gear knob where the gears are marked. Once done, unscrew the now exposed nut with a small pliers, given the limited space. After removing the nut, you can also take off the gear knob. To fit the new knob, even if it is different from the original, the operation is quite similar but in reverse: position the new knob correctly and then screw on the nut. Refit the new top plate by securing it in place, and you're done. As you can see, this is a very simple operation that anyone can do.
