How to Replace the Gear Knob on Jeep Renegade

In this video, we see how to replace the gear knob on a Jeep Renegade. First, secure the vehicle with the handbrake applied; sit in the seat. To carry out this procedure, you will need to obtain a tool kit (online) to unscrew the plate located above the gear knob. Once the plate is detached, remove it and underneath you will find a screw in the knob. Use a socket wrench to remove the screw in the knob. At this point, detach the knob from the gear stick. Position the new knob onto the metal shaft of the gear stick. Proceed in reverse to reassemble all the disassembled parts.
