Replacing the Number Plate Light on a Jeep Patriot

Want to replace the number plate bulbs? Here's how to remove the number plate bulbs on the Patriot. Open the boot lid, and using a screwdriver, detach the securing clips of the plastic light fitting located in the rear tailgate above the number plate. Once the clear light fitting is removed, extract the damaged bulb. Fit the new bulb (same size and voltage) into the holder, then reattach the light fitting in the boot lid covering the luggage compartment. Switch on the lights for a test.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
