Replacing the Remote Key Battery on Jeep and Dodge Cars

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

By moving the small dedicated button, extract and remove the manual key from the casing. Then, using a flat screwdriver, pry along the seam of the key, slowly opening it into two parts. Once opened, use the small flat screwdriver again, this time underneath the battery. This will allow you to remove it and insert the new one you purchased (it is a C2032, which is very inexpensive and available at supermarkets or hardware stores). Close the key casing by pressing it together and insert the manual key back in place.
