Follow this simple guide to replace the gas struts on the bonnet of your Jeep Grand Cherokee. First, open the bonnet and hold it up; then use a thin lever or something sharp to detach the gas strut at the top, as shown in the video.

Next, remove the gas strut from the bottom and replace it with the new one of the same length, securing it properly to the mounts; repeat the same process to replace the other gas strut!
