In this video, learn how to remove and replace the hydraulic struts of the rear tailgate of the Jeep Grand Cherokee in simple steps. First, open the rear tailgate and start by unscrewing the screw at the base of the hydraulic strut, then remove the upper one (using a socket spanner); hold the tailgate up during the operation.

At this point, replace the hydraulic struts with new ones of the correct type, inserting and securing them properly; similarly, replace the struts of the bonnet.
