The thermostat is a crucial component in maintaining optimal health and efficiency of the engine. Therefore, it is essential to replace it promptly in case of excessive wear and/or malfunction.

How do you do this? Keep the engine off for the entire operation. Unlock the front bonnet and lift it fully.

Directly in front of you, you will notice a large plastic pipe. Unscrew the screws present, disconnect the connector underneath, and remove it completely.

At this point, just behind and slightly lower, you will find the thermostat. Unscrew the screws and remove it. Replace it with the new model and reassemble all the various components removed earlier.
