Resetting a Maintenance Light on the Jeep Compass

Model: Jeep Compass MK 1, MK 49 - Years 2006-2016

This video explains how to reset a maintenance light on the Jeep Compass. Close all doors and turn on the ignition. Press the system selection button until you see the title of the light of interest (trip, TomTom reading, etc.). Then, press and hold the "accept phone call" button while simultaneously pressing the "OK" button for at least 5 seconds. Now, use the scroll button to navigate until you see the message "ASSISTANCE". Select it, then choose the "FULL SERVICE" option using the "OK" button. At this point, press the "OK" button again and use the system selection button to go back until you exit the menu. Finally, turn off the car and restart it to check that the reset was successful.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
