To replace the number plate bulb on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, you need to lever the sides of the light unit that protects the bulb to loosen its two fixing clips. This way, the light unit can be removed from its housing, giving you access to the bulb, which should be extracted from its socket by disconnecting it from the connector. Once the old bulb has been removed, you can connect the new one, inserting it into its housing and covering everything with the previously removed light unit.
