Operation: Where can I find the VIN number and the engine number on the Jeep Compass?

In this video we see where to locate the legal chassis number (VIN) of the Jeep Compass. We know that the chassis number found at the bottom of the windshield, on the plate, is not the legal chassis number: it is just a courtesy number used to move the vehicle until it has a license plate. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is located on the passenger side, under the floor mat, beneath the carpet. We find a removable plastic rectangle, and underneath we see the chassis number - composed of 17 alphanumeric digits. The engine number, on the other hand, can be found on its base.

Disassembly of the gear knob on the Lancia Ypsilon 2

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove and replace the gear knob on the second series Lancia Ypsilon, but also on the Lancia Musa, in simple and quick steps. We get inside the car and start by removing the old gear knob; to do this, just unscrew it anticlockwise, as shown in the video. At this point we also remove the gearshift gaiter, in order to replace, if necessary, it too; we just have to fix the new headset and insert the new gear knob, screwing it correctly and without creating play on the gear lever!
