The air filter in your Jeep Renegade ensures a clean airflow to the engine and must be replaced periodically. To change it, start by opening the bonnet: the box containing the filter is located on the left side, at the top. Disconnect the tube marked with a yellow clip and the sensor connection, which is located lower down.

Using a long screwdriver, unscrew the three screws that secure the box cover, and by removing it, you gain access to the filter element. Replace the filter and refit the cover with its screws, reconnect the sensor, and reattach the tube.
