To change the motor oil of a Kawasaki Z900, make sure the motorcycle is positioned on a stable and flat surface, preferably using the center stand or a stand to maintain balance. Before starting, warm up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and facilitate drainage. Turn off the engine and locate the oil drain plug, located under the engine block. Using a suitable wrench, carefully loosen and remove the plug, being careful not to burn yourself. Allow the used oil to completely drain into a suitable recycling container. Once finished, reposition the plug and tighten it carefully to avoid leaks. Finally, add the correct amount of new oil, following the specifications indicated in the manual, and check the level with the dipstick or sight glass. Make sure everything is securely closed before restarting the engine to verify proper operation.
