To change the engine oil on the Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S, loosen the drain plug located at the bottom centre of the bike: by unscrewing it, the used oil will drain into a container placed under the hole. Next to it, you will also find the oil filter, which should be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, top up the oil by pouring new oil into the designated filler on the right side of the bike: it is recommended to use oil with a grade of 10W-40.
