Frequently asked questions about cars and motorcycles
In this video, we see how to clear error codes on the Kawasaki Ninja Zx 10r without needing a scanner: we need to start the bike and let it idle for about 10 seconds; we can use the timer on the bike to count the seconds; after this, you will put it into first gear and ride the bike for about 10 minutes. You will have to repeat this process three times. Between each cycle, you will need to turn off the bike and turn it back on, leaving it running for the initial 10 seconds. After you have done this procedure three times, when you start it for the fourth time, the error codes will be cleared. This system certainly works for the 2018 and 2019 models.

The Piaggio Medley Does Not Have a Starter Motor

An interesting fact about the Piaggio Medley is that it does not have a traditional starter motor, as it is equipped with Piaggio's Start & Stop system called RISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System) which works like this: when the scooter stops, the engine automatically turns off to reduce emissions and fuel consumption; to restart the engine, there is no need for a starter motor: an electronic inverter regulator restarts the engine quickly and quietly as soon as the brake is released or the throttle is twisted. Therefore, technically it does not have a starter motor, but it is the start & stop system that integrates the engine restart function. At startup, when we turn the key in the ignition, set it to the "ON" position, the dashboard lights up and the electronic control unit managing the RISS system is powered, and the engine starts automatically.
